I can't speak Japanese at all, but is it okay to take lessons?
Please be assured. The instructors are bilingual in Japanese and English, so even beginners can support in English.
What should I buy for teaching materials?
This lesson uses the GENKI series, but if you do not have it, we have prepared separate teaching materials, so you do not need to purchase a new one.

Hiroki is an amazing teacher. His approach is easy going but moves at a steady pace and he is able to make anything understandable. We have had 2 + weekly lessons for the last 4 months and he’s always been flexible with changes or cancellations if they need to happen. Overall, Hiroki is a phenomenal teacher who is very easy to get along with and has fantastic teaching skills!! I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to learn, have fun, and see progress.

I highly recommend Hiroki as a teacher! His english skills are phenomenal, which makes it super easy to communicate. The lessons are very enjoyable and fun but also a little challenging so it doesn't get boring. He moves at a steady pace but it's no problem to review a lesson or to slow things down. So if you're looking for an easy going, open minded teacher who knows what he's doing Hiroki is the right one for you!

To put it simply, he's great. Every lesson is engaging and fun, and he's always willing to answer questions on the language and usage. He's pretty laid back over all which doesn't make his class as stressful as in school teachers sometimes do. If your looking for someone to help teach you and your willing to put in the effort to learn, then there's non better than Hiroki.
